set up an appointment to get gas turned on at the house. It said need your social to see if you need to put down a deposit….that was strike 1….get an appointment set for the next day…its says from 12pm-4pm someone needs to be home…. who needs a freakin 4 hour window? but Okay. 3pm rolls around no one has come by so we call them. They say oohhh a tech is on the way…why didnt you let us know that? thats strike 2….4pm rolls around no one has showed up. We go pick our son up from school, come back its a note one the door says they came by at 4:15pm. You was supposed to be here by 4!!!!!! Strike 3

Would be nice not to be almost run off the road by their driver who continues to cut a bunch of others right after as if they were racing and owned all four lanes. It's not only illegal to move across that many lanes at once, but if I didn't see them coming from my rear view on time and didn't slam the brakes and move aside, we would have gotten hit. If case anyone cares, it happened on March 28 around 6:30 right before 82/277 entrance by Judson in Witchita Falls.

Recently moved into a new place and thought that my gas bill went through the City (turns out, it does not) Called Atmos on Tuesday and they said someone could come out Thursday and turn the gas back on. No worries I can wait until Thursday. They stated several times, make sure someone is home or we can’t do the service. I work from home so no problem there. I got the call Thursday at 1:04 that they would be here in 30-90 minutes. Again no worries. I work from home. Never heard a knock on the door. The doorbell never rang. I check my front door and no ticket or anything has been placed on the door. I call Atmos to make sure I didn’t miss anything. They say oh they had a no answer so we couldn’t do the service. I say what do you mean? I work from home and I would have heard if someone knocked or rang the doorbell. They said oh nothing we can do about it today. We will schedule you for tomorrow.

It’s INSANE to me that the technician wouldn’t ring the doorbell or knock on the door. Yea they were here and left a ticket on my screen door, which to me, seems like they never opened it in the first place to knock on the door.

I am not a happy camper. I haven’t had gas at my home in 3 days now. I have things I need to do like cook dinner or wash my dishes. But it seems like they don’t care.

Fiance calls Atmos to set up autopay back in Jan 2023 with a customer service rep. They said, "Sure, it's on autopay now! You'll see a charge on your account each month from now on for your gas bill."

No charge is made, and they instead charge a late fee.

Call them back, and turns out was ALSO charged extra to talk to a customer service rep after that fact, so not only is there a late fee because they didn't charge my account on time like she set up with them, but also because she talked to a person twice. Doubly unpleasant, but salvageable. They also said "sorry about the autopay failing, we'll get you set up!"

Low and behold, they didn't. Now there are TWO late fees! Triply unpleasant, but she paid for it anyway. Paid manually and went about her business.

Several months later, try to set up autopay again with the robot teleprompter to avoid CSR fees. It's an extremely unpleasant experience, but it was set up.

...For one month, and one month only.

The following month, no autopay, but thankfully she hawked her bill to pay it on time. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. She's tried a few more times now since then, but it hasn't properly set up since.

But guess how many other gas companies are in Wichita Falls? That's right, NONE. Atmos is it, and they're terrible. Zero customer service: impossible to get ahold of, don't do anything when you miraculously manage to, and unreasonable rates on top of their ridiculous fees to discourage people from doing so.

Anyway, it's Jan 2024 now, and they're still awful to try and work with.

Over charging me gas bills I’m hardly here. My highest bill is 87 and you charging me $228 I don’t think so. I’m changing companies because your guys are robbing me and I don’t appreciate that you need to have somebody to come out here to check these Pipes or something. I am fix income and I’ve never had a bill over $200 it over $100 so goodbye Atmos
